This town attracts a large number of hikers every year because of its peaks and world’s second highest treks. Another major reason is the moderate temperature, especially during summer. Other attractions include Satpara Dam, Skardu Fort, Shigar Fort, Snowboarding, and Lakes. Skardu is accessible either by Karakorum Highway or Skardu airport.
