Quetta
Quetta is the provincial capital of Balochistan, Pakistan and is the ninth-largest city of the country. Because of numerous fruit orchards in and around, the city is known as the fruit garden of Pakistan.

The word Quetta is derived from a Pushto word “Kot” which means “fortress”. The city is surrounded by four hills ‘Chiltan, Takatu, Zaghoon and Mardaar’. Total area of Quetta is about 2,600 km2. The city is located in the western region of Pakistan.
Quetta is accessible either by roads, railways or airport. Major tourist attraction is Hanna Lake. There is a very famous Hazarganji Chiltan National Park and Quetta Archaeological Museum which highlights the historical importance of this city. This city is home to many educational institutions that makes it a learning hub for the province of Balochistan.
