Discover Gilgit

Gilgit, also known as Sargin-Gilit, is an autonomous state of Gilgit-Baltistan. The total area of this city is 72000 sq. km with the population of approximately 2 million. It is located in the extreme northern region of Pakistan.

Gilgit offers one of the most adventurous mountaineering expeditions. The main attraction is Himalaya ranges. Other major attractions include Naltar Valley, Fairy Meadow, Hunza valley, rafting, camping and paragliding. The best way to travel to Gilgit is by air because it usually takes about a day if you travel by road from Islamabad. This region is boarded with China, India, and Afghanistan. Gilgit offers the most breathtaking natural landscapes, forests, and mountains.
